Title: How to remove the shadow marked texture?
Post by: keeevin on September 15, 2011, 11:34:31 pm
Hello! I'm having a weird problem which I cannot solve.

The problem is I was editing deathknell and suddenly the whole ADT became shadowed except the part that I was editing. It looks like this:

as you can see I was editing at the bottom of the adt to the right where the white circle is.

Now it was ingame I noticed that it made some diffrence because it looks like this:

All the objects M2s are gone and the texture is shadowed aswell. Kinda not what I wanted :O
So how do I fix this?

Hi this is a bug of the older noggit version.
Try to contact Steff here in this forum to apply as a beta tester.

Or you can Fix it by Just saving the saved adt again. Everytime you save the "shadow" gets inverted,so if some parts are missing ,just set brush speed in raise/lower to 0 and the brush size to very big.
Shift+click to remove the shadow and save it. Reenter the location(you should see the shadow in noggit too) and save the affected adts again.

Thank you will try it out.

EDIT: I tried it out. It looked good on Noggit but after saving the adt and put it into a patch it is still shadowed. :(

Noggit swap this on every save. So just load again and save once.
Take a look a the read first post inside the noggit board to get beta tester.
