Weird, when I inquired about the price of HeroEngine it was around $10,000... Not 80 euros
Also, I have it for free, because I registered during a promotion. It's a good engine - SWTOR was made in HeroEngine, after all.

The source code license is the expensive one. The 100$ one is the cloud variant.

You really do need the source code to an engine if you're to make a game from it.
