That's what I did, it's just more confusing for people downloading a ton of patches that don't fully know what their doing. 1 patch tends to be easier.

Same here, if I model "switch" to another RACE ( as long as you're actually a troll ) it will crash when you cast meta. If I'm let's say human but make it look like a troll it wont crash.

Also by "fixing" the goblin texture it does fix the issue.

My guess is when transforming the troll uses some form of data / image from the goblin. ( Like you can't actually see it being used but one way or another it is.) When it checks for whatever data it can't find it or is being pointed in the wrong direction and forcing a crash.

Is there anyway for me to fix it without the listfile? It's casuing alot of players to crash on ascension.

If you're using a troll model and you cast metamorphosis ( only using Patch-A character models) the game instantly crashes.
This will occur with male and female trolls. It happens 100% of the time.

The other races work as intended. ( only does this if you are a troll)

Any idea what could be causing this?

Edit:
I "think" the issue is either one of the BLP files are missing or the "Charsections.dbc" is pointing to something it shouldn't for trolls.
It's super hard to find out which because there is no listfile. I tested the model and it doesn't seem to be the cause.

Edit again: It seems this was causing the issue - I have no way to properly test it because I can't make changes to your patch ( no list files)

Again I could be wrong, but this seems to of fixed it, would need further testing.
