Damnit they discovered that?
Use my modified exe http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=9218 The difference is that the data folder now works as the MPQ, so just extract the modified patch file to the data folder.
Wont this still DC if nost is checking the MPQ files in the data folder?

You are gonna need to restore to the original patch file. But instead of having files like this:
WoW FolderDataPatch-2.MPQCreatureCowCow.m2
It's now gonna be:
WoW FolderDataCreatureCowCow.m2
Oh I see! Awesome I will try this when I get home on nost.

I think I found the website I originally got the file from, but it appears all the listfiles on the site are updated to newer expansions :( dead end there but might be helpful information https://code.google.com/archive/p/emu-lex/source

"Retro-Porting" / [QUESTION] [1.12.1] Does anyone have items.txt file
« on: March 06, 2016, 05:27:36 am »
I have done item swapping in 1.12.1 before, and i know previously I had an items.txt file (to get the item displayids) previously from downloading some other mod package, but for the life of me I can't find it.

"Retro-Porting" / [Answered] [1.12.1] Anyone have a DL link to Glitchy's MES
« on: September 17, 2015, 04:26:29 am »
I've been hunting google and I know it exists, but all the file upload sites are from 2006/2007 and aren't active. Or if there's a  similar tool that does item model swapping easier than manually editing DBC files it would be much appreciated.

 Thank you!

Every model in game has UV maps, which set texture to model. You'll either have to change undead textures so they will fit on human models (like you already said, you will have to change faces, the rest of model should be perfectly fine), or change human model you have used in 3D editor and remake UV maps of face. For second option, check tutorials corresponding to 3D and character editing in general in modelling section. Btw, don't remake original human female model, make a copy of it to avoid ruining humans, but that should be obvious.

Cool, thanks! Any reason to pick one of those options over the other as someone with no experience in either?

"Retro-Porting" / [QUESTION] [1.12.1] Face comes out weird after race swap
« on: September 16, 2015, 05:21:02 am »
Hi guys, brand new to the community.

I just started model editing today after playing on Nostalrius for a couple weeks. I just preformed a race swap from Undead Male to Human Female. It works great except the skin and facial features are a bit off.

Is there a thread that goes through how to fix these and/or a thread with the mpq file for this race swap already done? I tried the search tool but didnt find much so sorry if this has already been posted!
