:geek: UPDATE MAIN TOPIC AND LINKS ! :geek:
Very nice job, thank you!

But I found a bug. Can you fix this, please?

You have Balsh character models patch ? If yes check which version since he has made 2. Check carefully his links.

One of you should really consider just remove that druid form so it doesnt conflict anymore. This causes way to much issues for people just because of one single form. Maybe you can remove it so the patches will be 100% compatible with each other without the need for multiple versions?

Balsh, do you know if this issue mentioned here is a problem with your patch?

there is a version with no druid form in my first post

I know that, of course. But when I wrote my previous post I meant that if someone else made a merger they could perhaps update their file to us. But then we have the issue of if its the druid or non-druid version. I simply suggested that one of you should consider removing the druid altogether. I guess Uthil would be the logical one to ask for this since you have all the player models and he has creature models. Its just unnecessary and confusing to have two versions when this is caused by one form. But its up to you guys of course.

Definitely not addons as I've disabled and removed all of them.

Also, shame to hear that about esylium. That might just be a deal breaker for me.

There's always crestfall.

I hear ya! Im in the same boat. I think this type of anti-cheat is moronic as it doesnt really help. If they had a sufficient in-game detection to catch those people running through doors and duping and stuff, then loosening the grip on mpq's would be perfectly fine, and then the whole community can enjoy 2016 graphics in vanilla. I think they lose alot of players doing this. I fear Crestfall might do the same, they have talked abit about in-game detection which seems really good, but they also mentioned a "checksum", so that might be the same. They want to ensure nobody messes with existing game files, which is understandable of course, but modified .exe falls under this category, so in that case we are skrewed if we have to use one. They also havent mentioned anything about "added files" detection. So time will tell

Its because of their less effective ingame cheat detections that they took extra measures to secure the external files from modification. As of right now you can play with these mpq's on every vanilla server out there without worry to get banned or even DC'd. Only Nost had this extra layer of detection. Not sure that actually helped them much in the end though if those who claim they still used duping and dodgy movement on Nost are to be believed. Anyway, time will tell.

Regardless of what the Elysium staff says, an updated OP would be appreciated for all of us who play right now :) Maybe someone else who made the merger could upload their file? Um, but then its the issue of that druid file that collide. One of you should really consider removing that druid form altogether for easier compatibility in the future. Was is just the aquatic swim form that caused issues or all druid forms?

probably the wow.exe modified is not allowed on nost/elysium new server

Yepp. Thats the big issue really. As long as we have to rely on modified exe its going to be risky and probably banned. Nost I remember also had this file checksum that detected additional files, like Kowards texture patch, so Kowards made a special nost version where his patch was merged with the default patch-2.mpq in the data folder. Later on even this was detected by Nost as they started to also check file sizes. If Elysium picks up this system we are more or less screwed. Both Balsh and Uthils version, unless they can come up with another way around.

I'll make an update this week. If you can't wait download Ladik's MPQ Editor and overwrite the files in any patch (druid form or no druid form depending on which one you use) with leeviathan's files.

Ah thats great! Will wait for that this weekend then. Im too scared to mess anything up with those MPQ editors. Everytime I try to make changes to something I get error and stuff. So.. Thanks alot mate!

Oh, and did you manage to fix the taurens btw?

Yes I did, if you're referring to their mouth textures; it was a simple dbc fix. I posted about it earlier and uploaded the files (mind you I didn't pack into an MPQ, just raw files. I'm just contributing).

P.S. I made some fixes to the CreatureDisplayInfoExtra.dbc (I think it's perfect now) -- I'll attach the updated file to my earlier post.

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I still dont really know how to make this work though. Should I replace Balsh's CreatureDisplayInfoExtra with yours and then done? Did you use his with or without druid versions? Im also using Uthil's patch so I can only use the one without druid.

I would be great if he could update his OP to clear all this up for all the newbies. :)
