As wod seams now to realy be the goal I started again on maps. The plan ist to rework the startisland we still have and the first zone to the startozone for the Na´Uhri race.
In the moment I rework the startisland to fit with the wide lakes nature style and expand it to get more space for the first save area quests. The character will get generated on this island and after you finished the quests you can get by ship to the continent.
I also rework the maps with wod models to fit to the new client. Here a first work in progress image of the island. I just started and will post from time to time new screens that show the progress. Also soon some wod ingame screens.

Thanks.. But it is much sketched and fare from finished.
Texturing is bad and many work need to be done.

We worked the last weeks on the switch to wod client. We also get away from the demo game idea and directly implement it likewow is. So we start with 2 till 4 races including all starting areas. The rest stays as planed. Now wow races and classes or world. All new.

I push all my changes to the repo bernd.. all is in. But I release a binary if all the stuff is implemented and tested I have on my list. Till then everyone can compile this 1.5 from repo. But on own risc....
Beside this it seams that I am the only one doing this constantly beside you. So please flame the other more :)

Last I started is wod saving. So noggit should just save the adts you edit in 335a also in wod format to another seperated folder. Its a hackfix but makes live much easyer and faster till other tools work. I am not the big data guy so if someone wants to help me. Feel free to skype me.

Looks good, I mean a bit empty and wild but I like isles without overgrown trees! I can't help but wonder, what is holding you back on the WotLK client at the moment, what is not ready in your project to move on ? Or you just want to finish it before the change ?

have you an editor to edit direct in wotlk and a fast converter ;)
I try to review ingame all I build at the end of the session . And also from time to time during edit.
So 335a is just for prototyping. project is in wod. screens next days. hope to get noggit save to wod done fast.

with noggit to wod does that mean it could read wod adts and models stuff without having to import it down to 3.3.5?

Not in the moment. It is an idea to let noggit save your wotlk work also in wod format. So you dont have to convert it afterwards.
This would mean you need all wod models converted to use them in noggit and an additional 335a client.
But lets see what future brings ;)

After some days of server testing I converted now the current version of our startisland to wod and made some tests ingame. Nice how much the look changed :)

Yes. still work on this.
In the moment I work on the Modcraft board to get it updated and running again.
Then we will go on with maruum.

Did some ground effects tests.
Sadly the subchunk at the left bottom corner keeps the effects. I filled it fully with the sand texture without effects and also tried the old ground effects fix on this. Did not work. I think we need an ge editor in noggit ;)

Thanks. I got the problem fixed. Just swaped the texture on this chunk in order fixed the problem. Also tested around with ground height to get some fome on the beach.

I have no 335a server anymore. So I cant test it there.
