Just a heads up. If you are doing Modding then you never want to use a repack you want to compile your own core because then you can do all the edits you need to the core. With a repack you cant do the core edits.

To get the banner working you will have to edit the CharacterCreate.xml and CharacterCreate.lua

Yes it is possible. I have done it before. Maybe someone else can tell you how to do this. I have done this before but I have forgot how to get them in here. Besides adding a display id in there.

I am having problems with this to. But I know you did not get as far as I have ill help you out.
You will need to edit the: Faction.dbc FactionGroup.dbc FactionTemplate.dbc I dont know what you are suppost to put in there yet. I just know we have to get those three files to. If i find out anything else ill post it here for you. 8

I first want to say Im NOT flamming. I am just saying it would be a better idea if you make completely new races not just replace ones. It would be better if you put in a new button for the races.

I have also been playing around with this. If you set your patchlist and then you will need a website seperate from your realmlist to download all patches. I have not yet found everything. I am still looking into it.

I used the tutorial for one part and one part only the GlueStrings.lua... We are not using mangos and it is so far off from arcemu. That is the only part I used the tutorial for.

Even with trinity you will not need the custom maps in the Server folder. You can get away with default maps. All the maps are, Are npc collision. Now if you were going to have npc's on the map you would want to mod the ad.exe to extract your new maps. I am not sure how to do this but it is possible i know. If you need anymore help. I can look into it because I will be needing to find out soon anways.
