Maybe it's me but what is wrong in this picture?

He is talking about the squares as only one texture is in every chunk, making complete cuts between chunks.

No, he just did not read any basic guide or manual and is stuck with being unable to add another layer on top of some chunks with four textures on.

Read the manual and basic guides.
