I have designed a custom login screen, which works great with my WoW.exe (my client came from the MoltenWoW torrent). The issue is that when I sent the patch to a friend, he gets the "Login files are corrupt. Please reinstall the game." error.
This is because he has a different WoW.exe (even though it has an identical file size).
Is there a way to modify the patch so it works universally with all 3.3.5a WoW.exe?
The only alternative is requesting the players download a new WoW.exe after they are done freaking out because they are convinced our server corrupted their entire client.

As far as I know, its not possible. Why would everyone bother with cracking WoW otherwise? Just give them modified .exe. It won't ruin anything, they will still be able to play on each private server.

Hmm, alright. Thanks.

Yeah when it comes to modding, the old exe is completely useless. I usually just delete mine, or keep a backup just in case I need it for future edits.

Any ideas on how THIS (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=7136) came with a modified login screen, which worked on both of our WoW.exe versions?
To be clear, I don't think I have the ORIGINAL WoW.exe--I have the one included in MoltenWoW's torrent.
The ones he and I have are 7,524KB (but only mine works with my custom login screen).
This is significantly smaller than the one included as the original in the client backup .MPQ

Because Anthonys Edited login was only Blizz Cata login screen with that same LOGIN INTERFACE
Morded showed us in his tut how to make our login UI that is more flexible and as far as i know almost everyone are using Mordreds Method / UI
base wow.exe = sux
