Title: [QUESTION] Want to make a Cata emu server, need some help

I've been reading alot on this and other forums and I have a picture now,more or less :P , of what I need to do to make a server, so here's what i want:
- a 4.+ server (cata) which I could modify, maybe not completely but I would make 3D model edits new races,quests lots of things(i know some basic 3d and even scripting, tho its other languanges not these for WOW editing, c++ lua??)

So, I'm wondering which core would suit me best for this, cos Ive read trinity has a cata core and acermu doesnt?? I just want to have the new cata starting zones, talents, and quests dont really care if endgame raids or even goblins and worg arent fully scripted(i would kick both from new races lol). So I would even take some repack, if there is a good cata repack,thats open to modding??

Basically I'm a total noob in this but I'm really eager to make it, so any help is appreciated I didnt download anything yet xcept glyitchy model suit.Altho didnt use it yet cos I dont want to change only my client side I would like to use when I make my own server.
So some pointers plz what to download, what would be best for the "cata-like" server I want :idea:

Post by: Tommy on October 07, 2011, 04:52:51 pm: SkyFire is pointless and very buggy last time I used it. I would wait for another few more months, or unless you know how to fix bugs. I'm not going to fix any bugs in an emulator when it has way too may at the moment.
