Title: [QUESTION] How to add Attachments to a Cata M2 ?
Post by: Ptah on January 03, 2014, 02:03:30 am
Hey guys !

I was wondering how to add some attachments to a cataclysm M2 file ? I saw a program called AttachmentAdder.exe exists, but as the M2 structure of cataclysm is different from wotlk, I don't know if it'll work.

Looking forward for anyone who could help me.

PS : I tried to edit directly the M2 with 010 edit, can't find where to add the coordinates of the point  :x

EDIT : Finally I've found the attachment's coordinates in the M2 file with 010 edit, but I guess the easiest way to do this is with M2mod4, converting your model and then add attachment in blender... ^^

For people who edit a model that can't go back from m2i to m2, I advice you to delete the submesh that doesn't have any vertex group (if there's one)

Hey,

You can use AttachmentAdder.exe, it works with Cataclysm, even Mist of pandaria.
You have just to reedit with 010 editor, the Attachment_ID and the bone ID, cause attachmentadder add strange values, but the structure is correct.
