You need all things he modified (dbc, wdt, adt etc.), then it should work...I think ;)

You can use Dropbox. (Dropbox Website (https://www.dropbox.com/))

Using Dropbox, one of you will have to share the folder 'World' from your World of Warcraft directory, and the other one will have to use that folder in his World of Warcraft directory. After that, when your friend or you make changes into Noggit, and save the map, it will automatically update both folders and both of you will be able to see the changes. But you have to make sure you don't work at the same time, because you may encounter problems.

Another solution would be to simply make your friend archive his World folder and also send you his DBC / Others files he modified.

Use cloud technology.
Like Google Drive, Yandex Disc or other
1. Register silgle account
2. Install client application on your PC
3. Select files and folders to sincronization (your project files or full WoW client)
4. Wait while files upload to cloud server
5. Send your account access information and client link to your friends.

Be sure to NEVER edit at the same time!

Not files. Only folders.
Exam Noggit project folder (with your edited adt) or full WoW client (Reque 25+ GB)
Read about using Google Drive service.

If you create a own continent, your mate need:
all modified dbcs
all created .adts and modified .adts
your own .wdt

thats the files you need to copy

what he also need:
same wow version as you
noggit (maybe :P )

You don't need to copy the whole wow version or something..If you make a custom patch, its enough if you send him this patch (if the patch includes all dbc, adts and wdts, which are used..)

We use a git repository to share and sync the full project folder including all patches.
This has the big advantage that you have a work history because of the commits.

So you can revert map corruptions.
And as people already sad. Dont work with 2 people on the same map area. Take care to have minimum 6 adts space between.
