Level Design / GroundEffects information
« on: September 25, 2013, 01:33:00 am »
Hello everyone,

I am trying to map a vacated area by Blizzard and I obviously have problems when I want to change the texture. On Noggit, everything goes well but in game, the mapped area causes many wow-errors.

From my research, the cause will be the GROUNDEFFECTS of which were present on the base of my chunks textures that have been found deleted when I changed my textures.
I tried swapping the basic textures to determine which were necessary and which I could change, but the result does not suit me because the necessary textures are too many (2/4) and thus prevent me from mapping correctly.

I wonder if there is not a way to completely remove the GROUNDEFFECTS on ADT without it causes WoW-error (I do not want the /console GROUNDEFFECTS 0 command).
Or whether there are other ways to solve this problem and finally to modify the empty areas of Blizzard at my convenience.

Regards
Leor

The soft was working properly but now, when I drag an adt on it I have the following error : "could not load mpq-files"

Any ideas ?

EDIT : Well, that's because I play with another version. I have to run my wow in 3.3.5 first and quit the game and then I can use the soft.
Thank's myself :)

Noggit / Re: [SOLVED] Unable to Import WMOs
« on: February 18, 2013, 03:03:52 pm »
I've read the manual :

Quote
Import.txt
Place a normal text file inside the noggit directory and just insert all the pathes of the M2s and WMOs you want to add.Every path must be located in a new line. Now select Menu > Assist > from textfile. All models will be added on your selected locations. Noggit only add models that are realy exist in the MPQ files.

Where it says that :

Quote
1. TURN OFF AUTO SELECTION
2. Click on chunk (press 2 times c before to get yellow triangle)
3. Then add model

Noggit / Re: [SOLVED] Unable to Import WMOs

Hello and sorry to open once again a similar problem.

If I write here it's because I have the same problem :

I can't import Wmo's from the "From Text File" menu. My Wmos appears well in the list but when I click on it nothing happens.

I've tried many of things to fix it but I don't know what to do now.
Here is a part of my import.txt if it can help :

I remember that it has already work in the past but not any more since my new hard drive.

What I do precisely :

-Fill up Import.txt with pathes of Wmo's from WowModelViewer for 3.3.5 versions
-Save the file
-Close the file
-Run Noggit
-Assist->From Text File-> my Wmo's are here, like the screen but when I want to insert one by cliking on it, nothing happens.
(Screen : Attachment n°2)

I've also tried to click on a chunk before, to copy/paste a Wmo before too, same result.

Thank's

Recruitment / Re: New Roleplay Server Project
« on: May 03, 2012, 03:26:06 am »
Hello Aldotsk,

First, I'm French.
I am someone who has experience in the field of Role Play and I am also someone who has already installed several times a private RP server.

I am also currently on the launch of a new project RP. If you want more, and why not work with me, contact me, it would be a good experience working with someone who does not speak the language.

You say you have skills with Noggit, it's great, but I also I did not have time to put it to use. The development of the server itself takes a lot to me.

Sincerely,
Leor
