Title: [QUESTION] Blender: no clipping, and weird lighting.
Post by: Bonkle on June 19, 2015, 12:15:17 pm
Hey guys! I recently started modeling in Blender, and am loving it so far. I've succesfully managed to import something into WoW with a lot of trial and error, but some things are still weird.

- The ground plane has no clipping. I have no idea why, since all the other planes are working fine. What are some of the rules to keep in mind when trying to get everything to clip correctly?

- Some parts of the model are taking some weird shading, being way darker than other parts. Is there an optimal "shading settings" rule in Blender?

I would very much appreciate some help on this. I'm absolutely loving the modeling part, but the pay-off of seeing it in-game has so far been somewhat disappointing.

I can't post pictures yet since I don't have 5 posts yet. I'm a lurker guys, sorry. :( I'll probably get more active now that I have something cool to contribute (modeling).

Hopefully I can post some pictures by tonight.

Can you show a pick for each problem so it can be more clear what the issue could be?
Edit: quick reply....
Edit 2: well can't you just upload it in a different image website such as imgure and post the IRL here?
