This is a hand painted texture that i made for the virtual version of my Violin, Viole, it took a few hours and carefully picking colors from a reference image, i believe it was a Sandner Violin, i quite don't remember anymore.

thats pretty sweet. you should make a second version that is handheld so you can bash some heads in with it.

Looks great! A pity that it's not a release, as WoW has a dire lack of sensible looking musical instrument objects!

Thank you very much for all your kind comments, and is actually quite true what Mr Laduguer says, there is a lack of sensible looking instruments .... well in my personal opinion i think there is a lack of sensible looking everything in the game, so that is why i created this, also i have a violin and i wanted one to be on the game.

About making a hand held model, as Mr flagg78 suggests, i will be more than happy to do so, but i don't really know how, i have tried tutorials and stuff but they have not worked for me so far,  so that is one of the things that still is out of my reach.

I have to admit, without a digital tablet it would have been impossible for me to make this textures, is amazing how helpful it is to have tools that are more close to what you would work with on the real life. Even though i starve for month after buying it n_n' and I procrastinate the acquisition of it for at least a year.

If you want to mod a game or create Textures for anything tablet is a must !
I myself have had the experience, i drawed with my mouse and my Textures were "OMG" after i get a wacom tablet the sun always shine :D You get Hardness detection, Smooth and much more... You´re the 2nd Picasso ^^

Waaaw!!! Awesome! I love Violons! or other instruments of this kind!! :D I'd love to have this in my wow!!! :D There is not enough instruments in this game!
