Using premade visuals can be restricting, I've been reseaching into spell visuals and the dbc's that control them. Especially spell paths. You can actually create completely custom paths with some simple knowledge of maths and the dbc system.
Here's a preview of altering the fireball visual with motion paths. This is the most basic version of modifications, it can be so much more complex and interesting/impressive!

Really nice! To create paths for "arrows" will be also a epic point to do; is this possible on this way? May u want to write an tutorial?
I know the effect of your fireballs from somewhere, but looks funny ;)

I'll look into arrow paths, they are controlled by the same files I believe, so it shouldnt be hard at all.
I'll make a tutorial once I progress a little further with some completely custom coded paths, I need to know what the restrictions are etc. and buff up on my maths skills :P

Yeah, hope u will get it work and improve the modding on world of warcraft :]
Btw: Blizzard have some Arrowshoot-Tests, but without any dmg. Maybe should take a look on those.

Can you tell me if you create? I did not understand
