Hello, I've got an issue when I try to port the Cataclysm Mastiff Dog to 3.3.5 I follow Zim4iks guide and I changed version to 264
Changed uint nTexUnits to 1
Copied the value from ofsTransLookup (Only the value not the other sections couse I can't edit them.) to ofsTexUnits.
Went down to uint Cameras and changed all to " . " and they reloaded to their orginial
Went to Struct_Cameras changed FOV to 0.7 and changed the portrait camera to 0.97 saved file and reloaded file but it still doesn't show in-game but it shows in WMV and PyME help?
-
I have same problem. (

What? You changed the number of cameras to what? "."? That's not even a number. And what is"all"?

Well, As you might have seen in the comment I wrote there, it requires more than just changing the value.
-
Well I can't edit more then the value section in 010 Editor. And with all I ment "uint nCamera", "uint ofsCamera", "uint nCameraLookup", etc etc.
-
You answered one of four open questions.
-
I changed them to 0.
-
Your problem is not camera related then. As there is no documentation of the cataclysm m2 format, nobody will be able to help here.
-
schlumpf, cata m2 have version 10
But!
game have some super patching system. Try to load client with model viewer and save model, it will have m2 format with all normal things, but if you export m2 from patch-*.mpq, it not actual model, it just smth like text patch
-
So none has been able to do this yet? And Zim you say that if I take the Model from WMV instead of ripping from MPQ with Ladiks it might work?
-
Might work.
-
I converted the 4.0.6 goblins and male worgen with not many issues, they have all of their animations and 90% of their hairstyles. Its possible, just tricky.
-
Perhaps you can make a guide on how you did?
-
Sure, I mean me and Arid had been working on exporting Cata models from various builds and versions for a few weeks but essentially it was me that actually ported over goblins correctly, as well as the worgen male. The female is also possible to do although she has bugs and is slightly trickier.
-
Okey, not interested in worgens and goblins though. However the guide would be nice.
-
Everon and what about WMOs from 4.0.6? Its rly to import to WotLK?
-
The wmo format hasn't really changed, we managed to get some of the gilnean, goblin and wildhammer buildings with no problems
-
So just open MPQ...export...import to WotLK MPQ close...maybe add to some dbcs?
-
The main issue will be that all doodads wont work on your lk client.
What you need is a dependency application that is able to give you a list of any doodad and texture needed
-
When you open in 010 editor WMO it give you requires textures.
