Dont recall what game the original model came from. I frankensteined it and came up with these 2. The larger is based on a threshadon. the smaller on the lion seal. The idea was to have the large be the quest objective the smaller be the reward pet. Files only no patch. for WOTLK.

HEHE thx flagg78 for sharing many things whith us but can you change www.sendspace (http://www.sendspace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) it's blocked from my country :D

Wow, Looks awesome :D
and its cute ^^
-
thx everyone. Is there a download site you would prefer? One i dont have to sign up for an account. That is why i use sendspace.
-
This looks pretty sweet :) Also maybe you could try Filebeam.
-
Awesome work, quite impressive and original.
-
Looks great, but what would the display ids be to bring them into the game?
-
these are just the models and textures. its not a patch. if you want to use them in a server you will have to make the database entries for them.
oh and i found the game i ripped the original 3 legged model from, it was AION. i couldnt remember for the life of me.
I also added filebeam links to all my downloads. hope this helps. Thanks everyone!

Anyone know of a tutorial for adding these models to work in game. All I could find was on how to make them.

go here:
http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/world-of-warcraft-emulator-servers/wow-emu-guides-tutorials/
there are lots of tutorials for database editing. you would have to make new entries for server and client. its pretty easy just read through some of these and you can get a feel for it.

Well I know how to edit the db.. To edit the creature template exc... The link you posted goes to a site with hundreds of so called tutorials.. Thanks for pointing out the one that would help with the models you made.. I did find a tutorial that is on adding custom models, but it is more on how to create them with 3ds max.. As for this.. You made them and shared them, but seem unwilling to give a straight reply to how to add them so you could use them ingame.. Guss if I can't find something on how to put custom models into the database then I will move on to other things... Again nice work, and thanks for sharing, to bad you can't or wont share how to use them.

i didn't volunteer to teach you basics of running a server. this is not hard and if you cant figure it out with the hundreds of tutorials on database editing then that is sad. ill break it down for you since you said you know about database editing. make a new entries. point new entries to new models. spawn in game. that is really all there is to it. if you dont know what all the fields mean in the dbc files and databases, copy an existing one and give it a new id. sorry you cant use these but as i said i never offered to teach you. i shared the models that i spent hours editing.
here is another spot to look. replace trinity with whatever server you are running.

Again, none of these links tell me how to make use of "custom" made skin, blp and m2 files to add them to the database.. I use the MySQLYog to make mobs for my server all the time as well as quest, creature ai scripts and much more.. I have never tried to add custom models to a server before...
I have no problem taking the time to make a tutorial and sharing it when I find something I think others may like to try. Look at the last entry here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3715&view=unread#unread (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3715&view=unread#unread" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
I understand that for many in the computer world, giving out info is a taboo.. But this forum is a shared info place, and the main reason I spend time here...
To you this adding of "custom" made skins and meshs is basic.. But for many of us it is not.. Again, thanks for the nice work you do, I was truly hopping someone would know of a tutorial that is specific to add "Custom" models to the server.
Maybe I was unclear, How do you point the models to custom display IDs
Sorry for the confusion, I really appreciate your expertise and help.. Thank you so much for the work you have done.

i dont mind helping people. that is why i first posted the mmowned link to the tutorials. your question was a bit basic so i thought maybe you had not seen them. you were pretty crappy about it after that. BUT by your last message it sounds like all you need are the dbc edits. pm me and ill see if i can give you a hand later. im doing taxes now....ugh.
