I just picked up a bare bones computer and got it up and running. The on board graphics card is junk but it did manage to run noggit for me. I want to buy a better graphics card with around 1gb ram on it. I have NEVER bought a graphics card before and every computer i have had since the existence of noggit could not run it. (finicky program) So can someone recomend a good card for around $100usd or less? I was considering this one

but i the price gives me pause. I dont know much about them. Any one recomend one that WILL work with noggit and is decent for gaming. I have an AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-CORE with 8gb ddr3 ram.

VRAM isn’t going to make much of a difference, as Noggit won’t come anywhere close to filling even 1GB in most situations.
Noggit runs usably well on my seriously ancient (and underpowered) Geforce 8600M GT 512MB, so anything recent should run it quite well.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend that particular card. I wouldn’t go lower than $100US if at all possible.

great that helps thank you! the one on board my motherboard is an ati radeon 3000. apperently they are horrible. since it does work with noggit im looking at other ati radeon cards. I would think that would help to ensure noggit runs? I have had horrible luck with noggit in the past. lol.

A better graphics card won’t make noggit crash less, but it will make it perform better (higher FPS),
Any discrete radeon or geforce introduced in the past 4 years will run it fine.

I ended up getting a good deal on this one:

I would've looked at cards on Newegg, not Walmart.

i did end up at new egg. that was just one of the first ones i came across. sometimes i can find a good deal at walmart but not usually. the sapphire radeon i did get, i got new for $65 with shipping so it was a good deal.
