Hi Modcraft !

So, i made a new custum area in approximately 3-4 weeks and i'm happy to show you this map :)

Geographically, this area is located at the east of loch modan, but i made it in a new map.

I really like it!

I could now praise everything that you did right, but i know you do know what you did right!

So here a few tips that i realized that will make a area feel very detailed:

Overall the mood gets a bit stolen by the flat standart skybox.
Set a new intresting one and the area will feel compleatly diffrent.

It feels a bit flat because the tilesets are not that colourful or rich if you would say so.
Try to bring a bit of variety into your zone by adding stones! and try to give some trees a bit more size to give the forest a bit more variation.


Also if you add a bit more "life" to your villages it will look also compleatly diffrent. A tent with a fire and a few benches around it. Also boxes are also always good.

A boat on your lake and some savages tents in the forest will bring also some life into it :D

All in all your area looks good and just needs that little touch of detail to make it look really individual.
By then it will also feel really finished without any much more effort.

I'll certainly spawn more details later, i did the map as a whole but its sure, i'll spawn details (with gameobjects i think, pnj's and more and why not groundeffects.)

I forgot the skybox, its not something what i think when i did a map, and i know its an error, because its very important :p
I'll try to make a diferent skybox that would go well with the area ^^

I'm happy to see you like it :D

I love the doodad placement it fits really well :) The mounts are "ok" but yeah the doodads makes up for it ^^ thumbs up!
