Noo... I am writing a story of my own. Something like a novel but shorter and not really official. Not related to WoW or any other games. My own story, with its own world and characters. I just suggested a name for the town.
-
Damn, do you really have to copyright all of your screens like that ? It's not helping to watch properly.
Though, I would like to say that your textures are way too clean, but there are some good works in the spawning of objects, even if your map lack details like barrels, crates and stuff.
-
I don't see why the watermarks are a problem. They're probably a good idea with how untrustworthy and hostile the private server communities tend to be. Also there's something I actually like about his clean texturing style. It looks nice.
Though yes, a few more doodads could help :)
-
Whilst I would say it's lacking the atmosphere of a city, it's otherwise a technically good build and i'm looking forward to how it turns out when you complete the detail work.

@allifeur
yes I had do copyright all pictures. cause i saw much People who copy the work from someone other and i dont want that anybody copy my work. :)
and read at the top pls. its not finished. i only done spawn most wmos and threes. the small details coming soon :)

kinda ironic taking into account that you also used copyright protected blizzard material all over the place.
Also: what should somebody "copy" from looking at the pictures? the style? the same style you shamelessly "copied" from blizzards people? yeah. sure.

Ever thought about that he has not watermarked the material he used but just wanted to prevent others to post this worldbuild as there work? And if you think this couldn't happen just look at some other wow emu boards.
Maybe think before flame others <.<

This. Though it wasn't necessarily flaming. Again, I don't see why it's a big deal.
The copyright obviously applies to his work and ideas, not the materials in use.
-
I even did not look at them bexaus watermarks create pain in my eyes.
And as long noone has the files. He can post 20 images of my work. Who cares.

Also: proofing that someone who is reposting screens of others work is not the original author is quite easy.

The point, which u obliviously did not get, is that although we are knowingly violating blizzards copyright blizzard did not force us to stop. Ever. They are like "as long as they stay within certain borders (eg. do not leak content, do not cheat), we don't care." . So its just, and excuse the expression here, stupid to put a copyright onto "his own work" (which its not really if blizzards assets are used) since its enforcing a copyright onto something which would not exist if blizz did the same. so yeah, i'm just "flaming". but that are all things you may could have figured out with thinking before posting.
@Milly
yeah you are right. its not a big deal. but i see such behavior kinda often and its just mindless. Its essentially the opposite of blizzards way to deal with us, the modders, which makes all this possible. Usually i just ignore such things but this one was one too much.

I agree with Hanfer, what he said is right.
Moreover, people taking other people's map screens are pretty rare. The only map screen of mine someone decided to re-use was a Boralus Screenshot for a Warcraft 2 map presentation, and I even had a credit for it. Leechers want to steal the map itself, they have nothing to do with screenshots. The only ones that do care are the one that it can help them for a presentation. (For instance, Sirfranc's Stromgarde was reused for a wikipedia page about the city, or his Tiragarde's rebuild was used by some RP Kul Tiras guilds) It's more like an hommage, I would say, and this is a flattering thing to see that kind of thing happen.

Wow! Really Pretty!
-
thank u :)

I saw this a while ago and it gave me some great ideas on my own city. So thanks. Looks awesome!

haha okey :D
