Don't. It would be horrible. Noggit itself is not a good code base and it is not even close to being usable as game engine.Start fresh. It will be better. Especially, if you're going to change the formats used anyway.
Not worth it, there's plenty of free to use game engines out there with more support and probably a better and more stable code.

But for building a game or something CryEngine/Unreal provide decent plugin support.
Ogre works fine. Did some stuff with it in the past.Also the named engines are free if you don´t take money for your game.
