Title: [QUESTION] Problem with texturing
Post by: Darluncar on May 06, 2015, 06:21:08 pm
Hey guys, I've succesfully created a new continent (with 1 adt), but I can't seem to get the ground texture working. When I just use the map without any additions (so just a flat map as it's just been created) it looks fine ingame. The ground texture looks exactly like the texture in noggit then.

However, when I just change anything on the map, that won't work anymore. When I raise or lower the ground on a random part of the map, create a mpq file and so forth and so forth, it looks weird ingame. It turns like totally black (almost).

Here's what my map looks like in noggit with a bit of water and a lighthouse (not visible on the pic) next to it:

http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w41 ... e0gi32.png (http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w419/RiseGFX/Noggit_zpskne0gi32.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

And this is what it looks like ingame:

http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w41 ... ywfudd.png (http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w419/RiseGFX/Ingame_zpsucywfudd.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

TL:DR -> The ground effects of my map ingame are not what they should look like, since they should look like the noggit map.

So does anyone know how to fix this?

Stop creating ADTs with Taliis.

>> Press the Browse button and select the file template_0_0.adt from the same directory.
>> Enter the name test03 for map name
>> Enter the cords 29 and 29 in the filds from ADT

Try this first with a new .adt. Also try to get the middle part of the map and not one of the cornor or anything else of the border.
