Hi everyone!

I thought I'd share a little something I've been working on for a couple of days: Ragefire Chasm in Unreal Engine 4!

I ported over the WMO, prettied it up a bit and placed a playable character in it. It's working pretty well so far ^.=.^ I adapted most of the assets myself, but I had some help. The background music was composed by Nicholas Potter and arranged by Sam Pierce, while the portal material was adapted from a UDK material made by Sjord De Long.

Shoutout to Samgartell here on the forums for getting me started with his fantastic WoW to UDK tutorial ^.=.^ It was a great start which put me on the path to UE4.

If you want to explore it yourself, the map can be downloaded here: http://goo.gl/QQ3YoO

The map can be explored alone or in multiplayer - this can be configured via a batch file in the root.

Enjoy! I might release a couple of other things soon.

I hear you both, and I understand you. I did not intend to come off as greedy or money-grabbing (which I understand I may have), and for that I apologize. I would edit my post, but I'm still blocked by the spam filter.

I'll leave my post as it is for now - I'm a student who needs some extra money, and this is one of the few things I'm good at. I am not looking to turn a large profit from this - it is merely a way for me to at least receive something in return for this, which I've been doing for free for a while. Pats on my back are well and good, but I can't do anything with them except feel good for a while.

I do appreciate you letting me keep the post on the forums, though. Thanks ^.=.^

Hi there, Modcraft community!

My name is Jarl, and I’m a freelancing text editor who’s taken an interest in the modding community of World of Warcraft (among others), and I’d like to offer up my services to you.

I work with English texts as a part of my day-to-day education which has given me substantial experience editing, correcting and formatting a multitude of text types. Texts I commonly work with include fiction literature, news articles and scientific texts.

In a nutshell, this is what I do:
  • Correct grammar, spelling and formatting in texts
  • Provide literary and structural feedback
  • Correct and improve sentence structures

As a wise man once said, “If you’re good at something, never do it for free.” Fortunately for you, my services are quite cheap.

These are my prices:
  • Small project: $5, smaller than 500 words.

1-500 words in any type of text.

  • Medium project: $5+, longer than 500 words.

$1 per 100 words in any type of text longer than 500 words. I round the number of words to the closest flat hundred (i.e. 249 becomes 200 but 251 becomes 300).

  • Large project: $25+, longer than 2500 words

Large projects follow the same pricing as a medium project; however, half of the final price has to be paid in advance.

If you’re interested in my services, but would like to see a sample of my work, you can send me an exempt from the project in question (maximum 100 words). I will give it the full treatment, free of charge, and send it back to you for evaluation.

To contact me, you can either pop me an email at Jarl.gullberg@gmail.com, PM me here on the forums or reply to this thread.

You know, clientside modding is essentially the rest of the forum (Noggit, model editing, texture modding, UI changes and so on). An additional forum named "Clientside Modding" would be redundant.
