Hello Modcraft community my name is Valencius I am from Moldavia and I came here to join in your modders family and to learn how to script .Literally I am noob. I don't know anything about modding .I am playing wow since 3 years and I wish to learn. How do I fallen in love with modding ? I saw some videos on warcraft movies with your creations and reznik creations. I would like to know how to start, what tools i need to create what I want .I would like to add from other games weapons ,items to wow and to make a server not like those privates which only use wow npc's with changed names.I would like to create animations, maps etc.Soo I hope I can find help here.I just made 18 yrs old so I am still young but I will try to learn as much as I can.

About tools, a very good list of them is here.:
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=784 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=784" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

If you ever try using Noggit, I highly recommend you checking FAQ topic:

Those are probably the most important links and topics around.

hey Amaroth thanks for the warm welcome.I checked every link you gave me and I can say WoW There are a lot of tools.
I noticed the fact that a lot of people use 3.3.5 for their projects.Do I need a recompiled WoW patch by me or I can start with a random repack from Internet ? And also for this repack i need a special tool like gm helper ? or only noggit ?

Repacks can be mostly used if you don't intend to edit core source. Clientside edits require a client patch; the necessary changes can be copied over to the repack.

As a starter I don't think there is needed to work at clientside.I will start first with noggit because as I see is an important tool.I took a repack from the internet simple without custom pandaria, cata bla bla bla objects. My first question I try to change the ugly texture of Undercity to the Lordaeron now.How I do this ? Thanks for your time .And Yeah modding is an adventure.
