Dying to sink my teeth into another project.
I'm an extremely dedicated admin and I do feel most would be lucky to have me on their team.
I have a LOT of fun editing many dbcs, importing things from future expansions (only tool tips so far) and creating completely custom tool tips. (I'm really big on tool tips!).
What I most enjoy doing is creating an amazing quest chain and I'm actually quite good at it too!
Plenty of experience in the database..


Anyhow, It's not much of an application but I can promise you that I'll be on longer and more frequently than anyone else just work, work, working away.

Modelling and Animation / [QUESTION] Object/NPC/Doodad (model)

Hey, I'm currently working on a project at the moment. We're pretty close to actually requiring this object (or something similar to it) before we move on to the next Quest hub in our custom zone. Anyway - I need a pretty decently sized object or NPC that I can spawn that players can see through and walk through. It'll be located in a sort of trench (not very deep, only about 2 yds) helping to 'seperate' a village in two.

Theme of the object (why it's there, color scheme, what it does)
The theme is that an actual rift in time has actually opened up (so the color scheme for the object/npc model its self will be Yellow/black/grey) and has become visible to the human eye (probably because of the type of radiation this world is exposed to) and this rift in space time is smack dab in the middle of a village.
                        One side is in the present time while the other is 120 years into the past. I have Lua scripts prepared to change the phase of players after the completion of the end quest in this zone so the village will be 'repaired', you could say. The rift will be closed and will vanish, the bridge connecting to two sides of the town will be re-established.


So... I am absolutely not sure what to do!! How should I go about this? Creating a custom model for an object or NPC to use or attempting to create terrain and figure out how to bring terrain into phasing??

Please, someone give me a suggestion or something!

Sub-projects being developed at this very minute
Translation and creation of story line into non-linear questing for zones (I.e., leveling multiple toons from 80 - 90 doesn't mean you have to go through the exact same quest order from 80 - 90 on separate toons).

Will update THIS reply when more additions are added and finalized.
