Title: MPQ File not doing anything to WoW

So, I recently did some really great work on noggit (and I don't exaggerate), but I have got a big problem. I tried puting it into a MPQ file, with two programs. First I tried it with MPQ Editor by Ladik, but no matter what I did, the custom area wouldn't show up ingame. I even looked up the tutorial in the sticky threads, but that wouldn't help at all. So I decided to try it with MyWarcraftStudio instead. Long story short, didn't work aswell. So, I am asking you guys what I did wrong.

Versions used: MyWarcraftStudio 0.10.6337
                          MPQ Editor 1.1

Path in the MPQ is wrong.

yup ur pwned its like

/data//azeroth/azerothxx_xx.atd

but u need

/data//World/maps/azeroth/azerothxx_xx.atd

or something like that just check your path of normal azeroth atds in patch .....

I knew that the path was wrong. Actually, MWS sets the path automatically, as I enter the name of the "world" folder with the "add folder" function, at least in a I different version I used earlier (which I can't find anymore).

So I tried everything manually, added every single adt and set the path and behold, it worked.

Thank you for your help, now I can finally test my map.

As well i dont know why is even someone using MyWarcraftStudio ... its srsly useless....

Just do the tutorial. It dose a step by step creation of mpqs from a project folder.

Because it was the first MPQ Editor I worked with, so I am feeling quite comfortable with it.

I did, but it wouldn't work. Anyways, now that it worked with MWS we can close this thread.

But if you do the tutorial,  why you use wcs.  In tutorial i give you a pack with all tools and there is mpqedit included.
