The title of this post is wrong. I know its not Noggit3's fault. Its me. The program itself is outstanding, I just lack the full knowledge to use it correctly :/
Hullo! Hullo! You may remember me from a few weeks ago complaining about "noggit3 not working" but turning out that I was a complete noob and was just making a few idiotic mistakes with the config file. Well, now noggit3 is up and running its all very exciting and I've been doing some of the basics in regards to terramorphing and creating mountains - all very exciting. I don't spawn any gobs in Noggit, for the most part I do that through the game its been working well but now I've wanted to take everything a STEP further and create a custom starter zone for my upcoming server.
So I followed the lovely Eulo's guide (think thats the name) and I've got through the first part a breeze. Created my ADTs, assigned them to the Areatable, created my WDTs, applied the terrain to the ADTs, updated my database but when I start noggit I can't seem to select my custom land even though I've correctly placed the adts + dbcs + wdts in the correct file (the places that is suggested)
wowfolder/DBFileClients - Map.dbcs and Areatable.dbc
wowfolder/world/maps/PilgrimsBeginning - adts and wdts
but sadly its not recognized in noggit3.
In the log there is one line that is obviously the most important it just reads
1936 - (World.cpp:51): World 750: Pilgrims' Beginning has no WDT file!
which means the map.dbc part and the areatable.dbc part is getting picked up by noggit BUT the world/maps/PilgrimsBeginning is not. Which suggests that I've placed it in the wrong part!
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance and a merry christmas to all! :')
