Title: [HELP] Texturing WMOs and M2s Left Untextured by Blizz
Post by: SachikoMaeda on March 13, 2017, 07:19:28 pm
Still working on porting as much Legion content into WoD as I can for an RP server. I've come across quite a few objects and buildings that were let untextured by Blizzard. Loading them in 010 Editor shows the only texture assigned to these WMOs is "DELETE.BLP" and the M2s is "grey1". I was wondering if anyone has attempted to retexture these objects or at least know how. I've got some know-how in Blender, but none that's useful to texturing.

An example of the untextured WMO I've got is "7ne_nightelf_templelarge02.WMO"

There is a WMO plugin on MC-Net (although I'd suggest you to use actually repository WIP version, installation tutorial can be found here:

Use it to load WMO into Blender. Then create materials, apply textures as you'd normaly do and turn them to WMO materials. Then export it as a new WMO. Done. If you don't know how to apply textures and materials in Blender, Google Blender tutorials. If you don't know how to use WMO plugin functions, something is described in manual here (http://"http://www.model-changing.net/tutorials/article/76-creating-or-editing-wmos-in-blender/"). The rest should be quite self-explanatory, but feel free to ask more questions.
