Title: Need some help getting Noggit started
Post by: Haccylccion on December 31, 2015, 04:53:21 am
First thing - It won't let me download the Visual Studios 2010 that is at this link (wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual#Getting_started (http://modcraft.io/wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual#Getting_started" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)) because I already have a new version. I am assuming this doesn't really matter

Second thing - I need to get a wow model viewer to set my import file to go to. I do not have one and I can't find a link to any. Can someone give me a link to a website where I can download a model viewer.

When I try to launch the "noggit" application in the NoggitSDL1.2 folder it just turns to a white screen for half a second then disapears forever. Should this be fixed when I get a model viewer and have my import file path to it?

- You don't need Visual Studio to make Noggit work. You just need runtime library, and really, most users have it already.

- Model Viewer is part of Steff's tutorial pack.:

Its rather outdated version, but Noggit works with its log just fine, with some versions of WMV there is problem that you can't use it for importing M2s. You can find other versions here.:

Do NOT use anything what is meant for WoD. MoP and Cata versions may or may not work for WotLK, I am not sure, you can try them and see for yourself.

- When Noggit can't start it nearly everytime means that it couldn't find some essential files. Check this FAQ thread.:
