As I have no time for it but think a manual is needed, I search for some guys with good English skills to start a wiki-based documentation for Noggit. It should lead to a manual that explains all functions of it.
So if you are interested to help and have some skills in writing texts please make a post here.
Here the Link to the Wiki
wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual (http://modcraft.io/wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

I wouldn't mind helping out with that, I personally think my english is decent enough. However, I do not know alot of the filetypes used in WoW, I know the basics, but should I write more detailed articles about it, I would appreciate some information on it.

This is about documenting Noggit, not WoW Modding. Its about "how do I move an bject in Noggit" and stuff.

I know, but wouldn't it at some point be useful to be able to link stuff to eachother to make it all fall together properly?

Well, I suppose one could use Noggit pretty good without knowing details abotu the files itself.

Fair enough :).

The thing is that we add so many stuff to it the most guys use noggit don't know that.
I speak to some users and find out that they don't know that you can move selected models with the numpad.
-
also i think it were better when we make a wiki like trinitycore.org wiki all user can edit a thing some admins control it,when it is right the entry than can the admins save the text :P
BTW: at what time comes the new noggit revision ^^
-
I create the basic structure for the manual. So we can start to work on it.
wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual (http://modcraft.io/wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

I don't have time to work on it today, but I'll make a start tomorrow.
-
I dont think noggit will be ready with all features tomorrow. So its no problem if the manual issent too :)
Just feel free to work on it if there is time.

I have taken the liberty to update some of the wiki (mostly spelling/grammar corrections, for clarification). I have also added additional text, hopefully pictures can be implemented as well at some point :D
-

Tahnks for help.

I want to bring this back to your mind. It whould be nice if some guys could help here!
If a take time to do it I can not code on noggit and you have to wait longer for new versions.
-

Thats nice. You have to creat an extra account for the wiki. Than you can start to write or discuss the existing stuff. I also write every 3 or 4 days some lines there.
-
I'm english and would be more than happy to help with the documentation / manual of it.. The only problem is if there have been any features added since 104 or the one released on the blog then I dont know about it. I could try?

Just read the read me first topic and join the beta group.

I write rather well and I am technically inclined, although I can't code for shit =P I'd love to help out with the docs and put my skills to use!
