[Question] 1How to actually edit WoW 2 noggit.conf problems
« on: March 07, 2013, 09:18:09 am »
Ok so number one
I have started to edit WoW, and I've only edited in Noggit so far.

the .ADT files are here... how do I make it actually edit WoW? when I play.

Number two
I edited the conf file correctly but now when I run noggit it just closes straight away. why?

Ah yes sorry.

My WoW Version is 3.3.5

My Noggit config http://pastie.org/6410393#
My Noggit log was over 64kb so pastie wouldn't let me upload it so I will upload it directly.

For my first question. when I save the world in Noggit, and open WoW to see it ingame, the changes don't appear to be there. So I was just wondering how I apply the changes.

EDIT: can't add it directly... wait a sec while I upload it somewhere else (The log that is)

First of all the Modcraft Tutorial on making own maps would be pretty helpful for you:
viewforum.php?f=78
There you can find beside many other helpful  things the solution to your ingame "problem" (changes don't appear):
viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3571

You have to create an MPQ file in which you put the edited files (.adt etc.)

The logfile seems quite ok to me. Seems that you could use noggit normal and than exited it.

I don't like Noggit... I LOVE it :D
If you have any question about Noggit, feel free to contact me. I will give my best to help you (:

Path = C:Program Files (84x)World of Whittall   <<<<  is missing on end!!

ImportFile  = C:ATrinity_3.3.5WoWModelViewer7userSettingslog.txt  <<<<  log.txt is missing on end!!

2 - (Noggit.cpp:130): Noggit Studio - SDL 1.2
1055 - (Video.cpp:204): [Debug] GL: Version: 3.3.11672 Compatibility Profile Context
1055 - (Video.cpp:205): [Debug] GL: Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
1055 - (Video.cpp:206): [Debug] GL: Renderer: ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics
1055 - (Noggit.cpp:257): Game path: C:Program Files (x86)World of Whittall

You even dont use the config file. Else there would be a line 1055 - (Noggit.cpp:87): Using config  file after the last GL line.

Perhaps you have not renamed it to noggit.conf or renamed it to noggit.conf.conf because you have the file extentions not displayed.
