Do you think we should release this version to replace 104?
In the last time i see running many beginner guys running in problems with 104. I wanted to first implement water, but this will take some more time. So do you think the current version is ready to work with?
-
Personally I think you have to update the key bindings (H) first, because the new texturing might be confusing for people.
-
No it does not. i think texturing and modeling are not prepared to go. Atm i'm using both b19 and b20 revs. I use b19 because texturing does not make crash or close noggit and it paints everytime where i want. I use b20 to delete b19 duplicates and work on objects, areaid or impassibleflag.
so
U could restore old texturing system (we already have how to work with it); blur option (please! lol) and then it should be a great rev to be public. ;) The new key bindings are ok; i mean to change the system to avoid crashes and errors. ;)
-
Ehm we never change something on texturing ;)
Its the sam in B19 and 20.
And the Help pages i will update .
-
ouch :S then i does not understand why b19 textures ok and b20 makes noggit crash :S That's a problem to make it public
-
I also use my new builds to creat stuff. And a havend any problems with texturing in B20. Tahts wierd.
An what adts noggit crash?
-
I have tested on my previous b19 adt's; on texturized chunks some textures are not painted (rock over dirt on the mountains) or it paints really small detail. On not texturized chunks it texturize nice but sometimes it crash when u try to add a new texture to the chunk or change to another one..
Well i will retry this but..i had this problems. I thinked that it was because of a texture free layer system or similar
it's hard to explain to me so if u want i can record and upload it @youtube
DP: blur option does not work for me by the traditional key bindings
-
The switch-through-modes keybind got removed. Still, one direction of it should exist as of what I saw.
The automatic-layer-freeing-thing was never really tested. I even know there is a bug somewhere in it, but never cared to look depper into it.
-
Then we should remove it again.
-
No. Doing this automatically is the best thing that can happen to the "OHMIGAWD, I CANT PAINT ON CHUNK" people. It just needs to be tested and fixed.
-
GRLGRLGRGLL! CANT PAINT!
lol :ulol:
