When I try to save an ADT in Noggit (for 3.3.5a) and go to the data>world>maps>qa_dvd in my WoW directory, instead of ADT files it has playable ADTS music files (that don't actually sound like anything). Is this how they're actually supposed to save? Also, what do I do to implement them into my WoW when I have this part figured out?

Just do nothing. It´s a windos "visual bug". File format still is .adt, but windows interprets it as a uncommon music file.

Thanks!! So I put the data>world>maps>qa_dvd contents into my MPQ maker, saved it as patch-G.MPQ (i have lots of patches already), and put it into my data folder. I ran WoW and teleported to the place I had edited, and it was the same as it was before I edited it. ?

And why do you not just have ONE patch? Or 2 one patch-4 and one for locals.

If it´s the same as before editing you didn´t saved it properly in Noggit, your mpq has a new version (ex.: patch-H.MPQ) with the old adts... just make a big change (after backuping world folder) and check if that change is ingame. If it´s not, you have a weird problem.
