Title: [QUESTION] Applying hairtexture in charsections?
Post by: phucko1 on March 17, 2012, 12:37:25 am
Hello, I added hairstyles to my ogre but it seems that I can't get any textures on the hairstyles. I just copied the orc hairtexture (it uses orc hairstyles) and changed raceid to 23 (which is my ogre) but still does not work. Tips?

I would think you would have to apply the hair textures in a dbc weather you copied them or not.
if It is a new race id then you will have to setup the dbcs for the textures just like the textures for a custom race or creature :)

That did not help me at all? Basicalyl what you said

Okey, you have to edit DBCs, even if you edited them or not.

I edited CreatureModelData and added my model the id 3661. Edited ChrRaces.dbc and added my race. Edited CharHairGeosets and CharFacialHairGeosets. Edited CharSections and added pelvis, baseskin, upperface and lowerface to my ogre. Now I want to edit Charsections to give my model haircolors of orcs.
