Yes my wow is patched, i've been using a couple MPQ's to replace the orc skin and some other blp edits.Do the m2 skin and blps of this MoP item need to be converted or anything? I'm in the process of D/Ling Mop right now -_-ALSO, would anyone know in which MPQ the shoulder files for the 5.4 items would be located?
EDIT-Okay so i have all the m2 skin and blp files i need, and i have successfully put them in a patch.In-game it works, it is correctly overriding my equipped shoulder item but the model is all green,I made the blp 256 colors so i dont think thats the problem. It's something with the m2 and skin files? Any help?

It's jsut the .m2 etc that needed altering.
You don't convert MOP .m2 to use them in Cata IIRC. The format is the same between them. As Anthony said above all you should need (once you have the files from MOP - IE: .m2, .skins, and .blps) is a patched wow.exe to load custom MPQs. Then you just make sure the filepath is the same as the original files and your new ones will override the cata model.
