This question is for anyone who can answer it.
I know you can make an inanimate image for the login screen of wow.
but is it possible to do the same concept but have it look at a swf animated image?
I would be very intrigued to see if this is possible.
Possibly would need to edit the client itself.

Most likely it requires source code of wow.exe

This is not a SWF though, but actually injected code, that paints an image above the WoW login screen. Totally overkill.
It is a sequence of images. Doing that via BLPs and writing LUA code in gluexml, you may be able to reproduce stuff like this.
More complex stuff but showing image based animations will get harder.
Using SWFs is not possible. Same for GIFs or whatever you come up with. BLP and AVI it is.

Well in that case, simply convert all your SWF and GIF files and whatnot to AVI files xD
Thanks
