I've had this problem for a while, and I made some posts mentioning it for this model. It could be that the question is wrong, but from what I can understand.. the attachments are where parts of the body are located and the geosets are used for armor etc.. submeshes I have yet to wrap my head around.
Anyway I want to add a geoset for the Vrykul female cloak, I already removed the textures through 010. This is a model I found somewhere on the internet, so I didn't add all the other geosets. I found the model that was edited and looked for the differences, which were a lot the submeshes, bones and vertex stuff in both the skin files and M2. Not exactly familiar with all these terms.. :(
Maybe a bit of a long-threaded question but I'd love to know how to do this myself, even when starting from scratch with the model since the one I downloaded has corrupt skin files to be converted to M2i.

3 or 4.5 MOD Redux M2I

So I do it through blender? I already had the models in Blender.. No idea how to add those geosets though in there. Also is this possible through 010?

Ofc it is possible with hex editing, everything basically is. You'll have to be a genius tho to build geometry from scratch with 010 editor :P
Placing out vertices and building polygons and correct normals :P
Blender would be the way to go. The general pipline would be to import a character model that has cloaks and put them over to the armature root of vrykul female and then use a bone weight copy script or weightpaint in the necessary bones :) I'm a tad drunk so this is the best explanation I could come up with :P

3 or 4.5 MOD Redux M2I
as i said its M2I via Blender if oyu dont know our Common tools its your problem eventualy now i saiid it
ITS M2i si all you have to do is search for 4ModRedux Soft here on Modcraft
Yes here Because here is 9000 questions and topics for everything that you could need
! THEN WHY YOU JUST DONT SEARCH !
or tly its too hard to go into
Boeard index >> modeling and anims >> Tuts >>> [TUTORIAL] How to setup and and use Blender .m2i plugins ?

Alright, it sounds a bit vague but I'll just mess around a little seeing what I can do. I'm basically completely new with blender or actual model editing so I'll just take my time. :P

I did search for the Redux mod.. It was late so I forgot to add it to the post in a rush :s. The thing is I couldn't find anything about the Redux mod on either google or modcraft. If it's editing M2 files or something I'm using the M2Mod3/4 with Blender 2.49b.
And I also saw the tutorial post but like I said.. this is very new to me I just didn't know what that was all about or that it even applied to what I was asking specifically but I guess I'll check it out again.
