Hey guys,
I need some help here since I got a new graphic-card my Mdlvis stopped working properly, it's lagging so much and if I rotate the model while holding ALT and using my Left Mouse Button the Animation freezes (still plays the animation but the model doesn't move).
And somehow it stopped using my "commands" properly while I try to rotate model parts it moves 'em kinda in the wrong direction prolly caused by the laggs, which worked well before.
So anyone got an Idea how I can fix that?
It also "laggs" well actually I would like to call it more a freeze when I hold the left mouse button and move the mouse while the animation plays, so it makes animating pretty hard right now hope someone knows how to solve that.
If this might help, I switched from ATI to NVIDIA dunno which ATI was in first but I got now an : Asus GeForce GTX 750 2048MB

Have you install the required drivers for your new GPU and updated them?
-
Well ofc I did I installed all the stuff from the disc and activated auomatic updates,
now more or less all games I got work fine, just mdlvis is screwd up and I dunno why.
-
I don't know much about mdlvis but I believe it's made in python, have you tried reinstalling python?
-
I've never heard of "python"..., so I never installed it.
-
You can try to check your graphic driver configuration, it is possible that you use your integrated "superuberhyperspeedyfast" Intel HD card or something like that. Reinstalling Python isn't that safe since there is really huge mess around compatibility problems between Python versions, it would be good to find out in which version your version of app is written. If you don't know what Python is, well, I think you know Java. No Java, no fun with Java apps. No Python, no fun with Python apps :D. Just to make it short and simple.
-
That would mean that my onboard graphics are only activated at mdlvis and I dunno how to check that.
And about Python this is actually the first time I heard of it, I didn't installed it before I changed my graphics and MDLVIS worked neither on my old PC.
-
MDLVIS is not Python. I believe it is Delphi or Pascal.

It really seems to be an Nvidia only problem,
tried it on my laptop which also got an Nvidia which didn't worked either, tried it on my old pc with an ATI it worked just fine.

I use Nvidia and I don't have this problem.
It's very likely something missing on your computer.
Or it's still trying to use old information it had when you used it with an ATI GPU.
Did you clear your registry of old data for Mdlvis?

Your on nvidia - gpu dedication is limited at 10% for non listen program's add via nvidia control panel or try add it from GeForce experience. Once it acknowledges it, it will dedicate its a power to it. Same goes for noggit.
