I understand why we cant swap the new character models because of how many polygons the current client can handle and blah blah, but today i tried swapping the kor'kron horde mount to the new core hound mount, and crashes my game straight up, I checked in model viewer, and it has the model form, but no textures, so I tried swapping the corehounds mount .blp to the old corehounds .blp's, essentially they are the same except in different positions. Still crashes. why is this?

change the particules in the model to 0 after converting it or you can try 1 or 2 but mostly 0 and maybe Anthoney will release a TuT on how to fix the particules

I think that mount will be coming out in November when MC is converted to 40 man raid finder max level for the tenth anniversary of wow.

yeah it is, but i hanged particles to 0 and it loads now. just need to rezize the model. any other way to do this besides blender, because as far as i know i would have to re animate it.

Well you can resize it in 010 or use a resizing tool one sec.

they are all in their. the kor'kron model only uses one so only have the main .blp file for it ( one with color of corehound ) ill try rearranging/ find another model to swap to corehound

no he is right put the m2 to notepad and search for blp in notepad and copy the blp and extract it all and put the 2 main textures in the creaturedisplayinfo.dbc I did this mount before

I assume you are saying edit the dbc and make the kor'kron read two .blp files?

Well if you have the blp from the corehound in it's folder and you're getting that none textured model then yeah edit the creaturedisplayinfo.dbc

I am trying to get creature display info, but i also tried other ones to see if it was just tht one. its not. ill probably re download the program.

and for the texture you put the maintexture1 in colum 7 and maintexture2 in 8

nicely done really TuT and did you forgot about colum 15 of choosing submesh its one of the main things about the creaturedisplayinfo.dbc likfe you choose what armor what face that the ogre have

for some weird reason it just wont extract..
re downloaded and tried 64 bit and 32 bit. its only dbc files

Try a different version of mpq edtior.
Also if you're using it on live why not just edit it with out extracting?

I plan releasing to public with giving you guys credit to 99% of work. anyways it finally extracted but dbc editor says it cant read fie extension. I am selecting all mpq and opening in merge mode.

I am trying to follow the guide tot the best of my abilities, but it seems you are trying to make the corehound a actual custom, new model, which is not what i want. I am trying to just do a model swap. of course i am probably wrong but i cant follow. i will keep trying.

so does anyone know where the walk sounds are. in the beta it has the stomp sound most corehounds have, but i cant find of the walk sounds. neither korkron or corehounds. also is there anyway so implement a extra sound file, because the kor kron doesn't use a loop sound but the corehound does. I imagine it would involve dbc editing.

I've never had any problem with converting WOD To 3.3.5, I got most of the character models working. Maybe you've found some models that got orrupted geosets or something. (Exceeding the 64 data)

you really should read the whole forum, or at least the OP before you post.
but interesting enough you stated you got character models working. How? whenever i swap the orc models it just crashes. ( and btw im in mop)
