Title: [QUESTION] Model crashes wow client
Post by: Смердокрыл on June 24, 2015, 10:36:54 am
Hello everyone!
I tried asking this on ownedcore: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-o ... -part.html (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/world-of-warcraft-emulator-servers/wow-emu-questions-requests/526390-how-install-creature-models-dbc-part.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)  but no-one seems to be answering anymore. So I hope someone would help me here.

I figured out I can use the model only once after each time I clear the cache.

Probably because nobody knows. Then again, you went full circle and posted here that you posted on ownedcore that you downloaded from a different thread on here. You could try just asking in that thread or PMing the person you have the file from.

The models where converted with Wotlk in mind there for should only be able to work on a wrath client. I am unsure how they would be effected in Cataclysm as it the convertion would of bypassed it entirely.

The models u posted - yes, are for wotlk.
But I downloaded the ones Mr. Farrare posted saying "I done extracting most of the creatures not converted becuase maybe you would use in cata "

Textures for many models where not updated till WoD or MOP so convertions would still be required for Cata.

How can I convert them then? And does the fact that I can only use the model once each time I clear cache, or else my wow crashes, have anything to do with the textures?

Not that anyone was going to help, but I just wanna say that I don't need help with this problem anymore, since
PhilipTNG (http://modcraft.io/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=189156) has helped me a lot, for which I am very thankful to him.
