Hey guys I want to take a part of a model from a creature in the game and merge it with the bloodelf..
I am trying to make it so I can keep both animations from both models... but attatch the one model to the other so they are one... is this possible?
-
Yes, Blender,M2i, Bone Weight copy script.
-
with blender you can merge different parts of different models (i'm working on a nightelf with exposed bones like forsaken) but you can't edit animation, animimport script works but bugs a lot of models, i don't know if Weight bone copy script of Zim works better
-
how do I use the blender script sorry still learning blender :(
-
First, select mesh you want to port. Then select mother mesh. THen go to scripts chose the script, quality to 4, update selected - ok
-
ok I did all up until I go to the scripts window, but I can't find the script quality to set it to 4 how do I do this its not showing a quality option

when I update selected it says no vertex groups found...
am I supposed to select the bones or the mesh or both?
-
select your mesh and add vertex group t bone 1 example. and try again

Ok I got it!, just touching up the animations
