Title: Character Creation in the Login
Post by: Nacho on August 11, 2014, 11:40:55 pm
Hi Guys. I been searching in the forum for a tutorial about character creation in the login. But the tutorials that i found don't have an explanation how to edit data base about hair style and other features.
There is some tutorial with this things too?

Thanks guys.

Hey, I see you're wondering about the hair geosets, well all the hairstyles are set in the .m2 file which is the model so when you use a new model it's not going to have the hairstyles because those hairstyles are in the other model.

The buttons on the character creation screen just change the sub-meshes which are the hairstyles in the m2 file.

I was planning on doing that just now on my first model, so what are you saying that we have to add the hair geosets to that new model or we have to do something else?

EDIT: I meant swap the hairstyles with new .mdls or dunno m2 files lol I guess we have to convert it to m2? are all hair models in the same m2 file in all expansions?

Here are some screenshots of the models with and without the sub-meshes including the armor sub-meshes like the robes, belts, gloves etc...

(http://i.imgur.com/qxo0IQJ.png) with the sub-meshes.

(http://i.imgur.com/eWJvlWK.png) with out the sub-meshes just the model.

This just something I've been working on for the WoD HuF.

These are just screenshots of the current HuF model, that I use as a base.
