Title: [QUESTION] Deleting Frostwyrm on the LK login menu
Post by: Serifaz on April 29, 2011, 09:56:39 am
Hey all, once again I'm Kinda lost, I imported the M2 of the login screen to 3ds 2010
I then Deleted the frostwyrm...
I exported an mdl which I converted to a mdx and then m2. but when I put it in a patch-enUS-4.MPQ,
like this.
Interface>GLUES>UI_MainMenu_Northrend>UI_MainMenu_Northrend.M2 and UI_MainMenu_Northrend00.skin

I turn on the game after saving my new patch...
and the frostwyrm is still there...
Im thinking I have a directory wrong or Im just not doing this right all together,
so I am trying to see if anyone can help me, I have also tried putting it in a patch-N.MPQ
with the directories,
Intereface>GLUES>UI_MAINMENU_NORTHREND>UI_MAINMENU_NORTHREND.M2 and the skin in all caps and no result,
I feel I am close to something but I still can't get this to work.
Any Ideas are welcome / any help :)

Swap that file to something completely different. If it changes then, the path is right and the model you made is just the same as the original.

Perhaps blizzard swaped the model in a patchfile.
