Hey!
So When I try to change path in the config file to my wow 3.3.5 install. The program closes after opening..And In the log it says that It could not find 2.4.3..but I told in the config to look for the 3.3.5 installation.
LOG
http://pastebin.com/QMHxyap4
CONFIG
http://pastebin.com/JsjQLgZu
EDIT: I tried a reinstall but It diden't help.
-
Remove the # in front of it.
lG,
-
I'm sorry in front of what?
-
Infront of the path:
#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = C:\wow3.3.5An\
#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
ProjectPath = Z:\Path\
-
The program still closes and in the log it's the same message
.wowmapview.cpp:154 > Nogg-It $Rev: 104 $
.wowmapview.cpp:264 > Game path: C:wow 2.4.3Data
.wowmapview.cpp:266 > Project path: Z:\Path\
.wowmapview.cpp:310 > Could not find locale directory. Be sure, that there is one containing the file "realmlist.wtf".
I diden't even type C:wow 2.4.3 in the game path..

Run the 3.* WoW once, delete the config file, run noggit.
-
Or run noggit with the -c switch. Only thne the 104 use the config file.
-
What do you mean by use the c-switch?
-
Noggit can be run with comand line parameters. Just make a shortcut to the noggit exe. Edit the shortcut and add -c after the app path.
......./noggit.exe -c
Only if you run the 104 with this switch it will use the config file.
The newer version use it if it exists.
-
Okey I got it to work now. But I get alot of crashes. Is this just because noggit is not perfect or is it something that can be done?
-
The 104 use the old MPQLib that cant handle new MPQ files. We updated to StormLib with the Beta. So join the beta groupe.
